Chapter Mission and Objectives: Create in Niagara Falls (NY) and the Niagara River region a sense of place through grassroots partnerships, advocacy, and education about regional native plants and natural landscaping with a focus on the restoration, preservation and the protection of the botanically unique habitats of Niagara Falls and the Niagara River gorge, their old growth forests and rare calcareous cliff botanicals.

The Niagara Falls and River Region Chapter follows the Niagara River Greenway municipal boundaries as determined by the Niagara River Greenway Commission and the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area. This chapter includes the following municipalities: City of Niagara Falls and the lower Niagara River gorge, the Towns of Porter, Lewiston, Niagara, and Tonawanda, the villages of Youngstown and Lewiston, and Wheatfield, North Tonawanda, City of Tonawanda, Grand Island, Kenmore, and Buffalo, New York.
